elcome! Jardineros de Placitas is a social, charitable and benevolent organization, providing its members with opportunities for meeting other Placitas residents and promoting the betterment of the greater Placitas community. Membership in the club is open to any resident of Placitas. 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of our club - we’ve set up a special page to keep members informed of all the wonderful activities being planned for this celebration. Our support of the community includes monetary donations to schools and agencies serving Sandoval County. Opportunities for volunteer service are offered through our Community Services committee. Members donate holiday toys, backpacks with school supplies, and coats for elementary and middle school kids, create quilts for the domestic violence shelter, read with school children, and clean up a mile of Hwy 165.Numerous smaller groups enable members to pursue their interests and enjoy the company of other members. Interest group activities include wine tastings, area trips, healthy living, movies, birding, money matters, photography, mah jongg, dining out, crafts, game nights, book discussion, and gourmet cooking.Being a member of Jardineros de Placitas is a wonderful way to meet interesting people and make new friends while serving the community. If you’re interested in learning more or attending a meeting, view and complete our membership application.President’s Message November, 2024 - Meeting Photos - January to June 2024Meeting Photos - July to December 2024July 4th Parade Photos 2024
